TL;DR - The Important Stuff

  • ✓We don't read your code or data. Your executions are stored at the project level and are only accessible by you.
  • ✓We don't train AI models on your data. Your code and execution data are never used for training any machine learning models.
  • ✓Logs are yours, for your debugging. We store execution transcripts so YOU can trace and debug your own AI agent apps - we don't access them.
  • ✓You control what gets stored. Turn off tracing in your project settings and we won't store execution logs at all.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShellifyAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including developers, organizations, and API consumers.

2. Description of Service

ShellifyAI provides secure runtime environments and shell execution capabilities for AI-powered applications. Our services include:

  • Sandboxed shell execution environments
  • AI agent integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and others)
  • API access for programmatic shell execution
  • Usage tracking, billing, and workspace management
  • Session persistence and artifact storage

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Execute malicious code, malware, or viruses
  • Attempt to breach, circumvent, or test security measures
  • Access systems or data without authorization
  • Engage in cryptocurrency mining or resource abuse
  • Send spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited communications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

5. API Usage and Rate Limits

API access is subject to the following conditions:

  • API keys must be kept confidential and not shared publicly
  • Rate limits apply based on your subscription plan
  • Excessive usage may result in throttling or suspension
  • API access may be revoked for violation of these terms

6. Shell Execution Guidelines

When using our shell execution services:

  • Executions run in isolated sandbox environments with resource limits
  • Long-running processes may be terminated after timeout periods
  • Network access from sandboxes may be restricted
  • File system access is limited to designated directories
  • Certain commands and operations may be blocked for security

7. Billing and Payment

For paid services:

  • Billing is processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis
  • Usage-based charges are billed at the end of each billing period
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

8. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by ShellifyAI and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your IP: You retain ownership of all code, data, and content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHELLIFYAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShellifyAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For non-payment of fees
  • If required by law
  • At our discretion with reasonable notice

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ShellifyAI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
